Well we are now back in the water after spending about 10 days on the hard in Rebak doing the annual maintenance. This time however there were a few extra jobs and we took the old antifoul off, back to the epoxy and then put a protective primer on before the normal two coats of antifoul. All was good with the hulls, as expected, with no signs of any osmosis or similar.

We also changed the saildrive seals while we were on the hard as it was 5 years since they were last done.

At present we are motoring ( what else ) down to Penang and should arrive about 5pm at the new StraitsQuay marina. We expect to be there for a couple of days (enjoying the great Indian food and the shopping) before heading down to Pangkor and then Port Dickson on our way to Singapore.

The 7.5m wide travel lift at Rebak has no problems picking us up ready to splash.
